For sale is a Somic Wraparound Packer (without lid), which can preferably pack flow-wrap products or thermoformed packs in a wraparound carton by means of two fan conveyors (i.e. two different format sizes and interchangeable format parts). The flat blank is inserted into a magazine and placed on the vacuum belt by means of two suction arms. It is then driven from station 1 to station 2 by means of a servo motor. Hot melt traces are applied between stations 1 and 2, which are glued to the servo-driven folding stamp and the folding die (which are adjustable) after the products have been retracted from the portal. The filled carton then leaves the Somic at the next work cycle and can be taken over at the outlet. The system also has a levelling belt that can be used to distribute the contents of flowpacks. The height and width of the system can be variably adjusted over a wide range. Due to the fact that Elau servo motors, axes and masters were no longer available on the aftermarket, they were removed due to faults and have already been sold after inspection. Of course, it is possible to install new Siemens servo motors and servo axes at an additional cost. Of course, it is also possible to convert the control system to Siemens S7 (1500 controller) M624748 for an additional charge. The touchscreen could also be converted to a Siemens Comfort panel for an extra charge. The facility is available now. The current retail price is 3,500 euros. The conversion to a different format, including new Siemens components, can be completed within two to four months, depending on the order situation. The price for the conversion, including the renewal of bearings and assemblies and a new CE declaration of conformity and new protection components, starts at 75,000 euros.
