FALCON S4020 6 kW fiber laser was built in 2025 in China by FFG CHINA
CO., LTD. The machine was launched in March 2026 and has been in
operation for a small number of hours. It is covered by a valid
warranty until February 2031.
This fibre laser belongs to the FALCON S Masterline series, developed
for users seeking high performance while keeping operating costs low.
The machine is designed for the precise cutting of large sheets of
metal with a maximum thickness of 30 mm. Cutting is performed using a
fiber optic beam generated by a high-performance ULTRON 6 kW laser
source. The narrow focal spot, combined with high energy density,
ensures precise material machining with minimal thermal deformation.
The fibre laser technology also offers greater energy efficiency and
performance compared with other cutting methods.
The FALCON S4020 features a BOCHU 3D cutting head with a range of
useful functions. The autofocus automatically adjusts the focal
position to the thickness of the material being machined, which is
essential for achieving high cutting precision. The anti-collision
system reduces the risk of the cutting head colliding with the
workpiece. All this is complemented by an automatic nozzle changer,
which replaces, calibrates and cleans the nozzles, streamlining the
machine’s preparation for operation.
To increase production efficiency and minimise downtime, the FALCON
laser cutting machine is equipped with a mechanical pallet exchange
system. The system enables simultaneous loading and unloading of
material during machine operation, reducing the time required to
prepare the next workpiece. Cutting parameters are programmed using
software with a nesting function, which optimises material utilisation
by appropriately arranging shapes on the sheet metal surface. This
solution helps to reduce waste and improve material efficiency. The
total weight of the machine is 13 tonnes.
