It consists of three parts: a pre-treatment system, a reverse osmosis system and a purified water storage and distribution system. Each part is connected in series with the other parts, which means that the reverse osmosis system cannot operate if the pre-treatment system does not supply it with water, and the cycle cannot operate if the reverse osmosis system does not supply purified water.
