VCP” stands for: Video‐recognition of register marks (V) + Controlling via CCD image processing (C) + Positioning by stepping motor control (P) — as one brochure puts it.
The machine is used in the pre‐press / printing-plate automation sector: it aligns exposed printing plates, punches the register holes, bends the plates (to the correct angle) in one cycle.
