Overview This Krones Linatronic M is an empty bottle inspector for glass bottles, built in 2018. It inspects every empty container before filling and rejects any container that fails one of the inspection stages. The machine combines camera-based base, sealing surface, screw thread and sidewall inspection with high-frequency and infrared residual liquid and caustic detection. Two sidewall modules with four mirror assemblies and four cameras provide a compact full-front view of the container, and the DualFlash neck finish lighting inspects the outer and inner sealing surface separately using two minimally offset lighting angles. Foreign containers are identified at the machine infeed by height, contour and colour detection. Three Ecopush rejection points separate foreign, dirty and damaged containers.
