AGIE AGIETRON HYPERSPARK 2 HS die-sinking EDM machine was built in 2008 in Switzerland by AGIE SA. The machine is designed for the production of precision dies, punching dies, punches and other elements with complex geometry using the electrical erosion. This technology enables the machining of workpieces made from difficult-to-machine and hardened materials, and also reduces or completely eliminates the need for further finishing operations, such as polishing. Electrical discharge machining is performed in a tank filled with a dielectric fluid, which affects the surface quality and dimensional accuracy of the machined workpieces. All process parameters are entered in an intuitive CNC controller, which facilitates the daily operation of the machine. The AGIE AGIETRON HYPERSPARK 2 HS sinker EDM is offered with tooling.
