FRAMECAD FL650 roll forming line was built in 2009 in New Zealand by
Framecad Solutions Ltd. This state-of-the-art and compact production
line is used in the production of precision C- and U-type cold-formed
profiles, used as steel floor joists in a wide range of construction
projects. The entire machining process is fully automatic and is
performed with the highest accuracy. The strip, with a maximum
thickness of 1.95 mm, is uncoiled from the coil towards the workspace
with a roll forming system. Each profile is precisely formed, cut,
punched and individually marked. Large service holes are also made to
facilitate the assembly of electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems.
The FRAMECAD roll forming line is operated via a touchscreen panel
with an intuitive interface that significantly simplifies the daily
work of the operator. The full integration of advanced design software
with the controller makes it one of the most intelligent building
systems on the market. The installed FRAMECAD Factory software is
fully networkable, which maximises productivity and enables remote
diagnostics of the machine. The FRAMECAD FL650 roll forming line weighs
approximately 7000 kg.
