HAAS ST-20 CNC turning center was built in 2011 in the United States
by HAAS AUTOMATION, INC. The machine is designed for the production of
precision parts used in various industries. It enables the efficient
turning of workpieces with a maximum diameter of 381 mm and a length
of 533 mm.
Machining is performed using a spindle with a maximum rotational speed
of 4000 rpm. The HAAS ST-20 works in two axes, X and Z, with feeds of
236 mm and 533 mm respectively. The 12-position turret allows for the
use of different tools during machining and enables their rapid
exchange. All this is complemented by a compact, highly rigid
design.
The ST-20 CNC lathe is operated using an intuitive HAAS CNC controller
with access to numerous advanced functions. The machine is also
equipped with a measuring probe and a chip conveyor designed to
automatically remove chips from the work area. The total weight of the
machine is approximately 3900 kg.
