iDEAL BAS 065-11 is a resistance butt welding machine for band saw
blades, made in Germany by IDEAL-Werk C.+E. Jungeblodt GmbH + Co.,
Lippstadt. Serial no. 235529, year of manufacture 2008. Rated power 20
kVA at 50% duty cycle, primary voltage 400 V, 50/60 Hz, secondary
voltage 2.5 – 4.0 V, maximum upsetting force 50 kN. Hydraulic
clamping (the "-11" version): both clamping jaws are operated
hydraulically by foot switch, so the operator keeps both hands free to
position the blade. The hydraulic power unit with clamping pressure
gauge is mounted on the machine. Welding current is selected with the
step switch, flashing speed and annealing time are set on the front
control panel, with a Panasonic timer for the annealing cycle. A
flexible work light is fitted above the welding zone. Capacity:
bi-metal band saw blades 10 x 0.7 – 41 x 1.6 mm, wood band saw
blades 10 x 0.7 – 60 x 1.0 mm, stainless steel band saw blades 10 x
0.4 – 35 x 0.8 mm, band knives 10 x 0.4 – 40 x 0.8 mm, strip steel
7 – 100 mm2 cross-section (stainless up to 50 mm2), band thickness
0.4 – 2.5 mm, clamping width 60 mm. The machine is used, in working
condition and repainted. Electrical cabinet, hydraulics and controls
are shown in the photographs. Machine weight approx. 420 kg net / 480
kg gross, packing dimensions approx. 1150 x 1150 x 1150 mm.
