Extruding lines JINHU GROUP JHE 60-33

JINHU GROUP JHE 60-33 extrusion line was built in 2017 in China by Shanghai Jinhu Pipe Equipment Co., Ltd. The line is currently configured to produce innovative polyethylene (PE) pipes with a diameter of 250 mm, designed for ground heat exchangers. The pipes feature a star-shaped cross-section and an inner layer with nanosilver, with antifungal and antibacterial properties. Compared with conventional round pipes, the star-shaped cross-section provides a larger heat exchange surface area. By replacing the ehtrusion head and calibrator, the JINHU GROUP extrusion line can also produce round pipes and profiles.

The JINHU GROUP JHE 60-33 extrusion line consists of the following components:

The pipe manufacturing process is performed using two cooperating with each other extruders. The first processes the polyethylene used to form the main pipe layer, while the second feeds the material enriched with nanosilver, which creates the inner layer. Both materials are fed simultaneously into the extrusion head, where they are combined and formed into a pipe with a characteristic star-shaped cross-section. The pipe then passes through a calibrator that gives it the required dimensions, after which it is cooled, conveyed by the caterpillar haul-off and cut to specified lengths.
