PROCHERA SPWD brush sanding machine was built in 2015 in Poland by
P.P.U.H. Dariusz Prochera. The machine is new and has never been used.
It was unpacked only for the purpose of taking photos.
The PROCHERA SPWD is used for four-sided sanding of wooden and
wood-based components before varnishing and between successive stages
of varnishing. It prepares the surface for varnishing and then levels
and smooths it before the application of the finish coat. Simultaneous
machining of four sides of the component speeds up the production
process and ensures a uniform, aesthetic finish along its entire
length.
The sander is designed to machine workpieces with a maximum width of
210 mm and a height of 130 mm. Machining is performed using sanding
heads mounted on clamping plates, whose position is adjusted manually
while the rotational speed is controlled automatically. The heads use
abrasive flap wheels interspersed with sweeping elements.
Workpieces move through the working area on a belt conveyor with
continuously adjustable speed, operated via a DELTA controller with a
touch screen. Adjustable side and top rollers stabilise the workpieces
and keep them in the correct position during sanding. The PROCHERA
SPWD brush sanding machine weighs 2400 kg.
