ZBUS YUN 3000-2 plasma-gas cutting machine was built in 2001 in Poland
by Zakład Budowy Urządzeń Spawalniczych ZBUS Sp. z o.o. The machine
is designed for the precise cutting of large-sized sheet metals with a
maximum length of 12 metres and a thickness of 150 mm. The process is
performed using two oxy-fuel torches and a plasma torch. The use of
both cutting methods enables the flexible adaptation of the machine to
current production requirements. As a result, the ZBUS YUN 3000-2 is
ideal for the production of steel components for various
industries.
The YUN 3000-2 plasma-gas cutting machine is distinguished by its
stable, open design, which ensures easy access to the work space from
all sides. The plasma torch is mounted in an IHT MSX750ARC support,
responsible for its precise guidance and automatic position adjustment
relative to the workpiece. The plasma arc is generated by a efficient
HYPERTHERM Powermax 1650 G3 source, which minimises spatter and
reduces the need for additional machining of workpieces after cutting.
The machine is also equipped with an intuitive CNC controller with
many useful functions. The ZBUS YUN plasma-gas cutting machine weighs
approximately 1400 kg.
