HAAS ST-30 CNC turning center was built in 2013 in the United States by HAAS AUTOMATION, INC. The machine, distinguished by its high reliability and precision, is perfect for both unit and series production. It is capable of performing a number of complex operations, such as precision turning or threading of workpieces. All these machining processes are performed inside a large, fully illuminated work area by means of a powerful spindle and cutting tools. The spindle, driven by a high-powered motor, rotates at a maximum speed of 2400 rpm and moves in two X,Z axes with feeds of 457 mm and 584 mm respectively. To guarantee maximum machining precision, each tool taken from the 12-position turret is continuously measured and calibrated by a measuring probe.
