Optima complete production and packaging line for ELISA test kits,
comprising the Optima MEDICON ImmuCoat coating system for the
manufacture of 96-well microtitre plates for ELISA kits; operating
principle and process steps: 1. Feeding and preparation: Microtitre
plates are automatically retrieved from destackers and transferred to
the transport system. 2. Deionisation: To eliminate static charges,
the plates are deionised, which is crucial for uniform coating. 3.
Coding: Each plate is assigned a unique serial number. 4. Coating: The
system precisely dispenses the biological components (such as
antibodies or proteins) into the wells of the 96-well plate
(dispensing volume 0–500 µl per well, dispensing rate 0–30,000
µl/s per well), followed by automatic level verification (Level
Verification Ultrasonic V2 Y with 8-channel ultrasonic sensor). 5. 2
(two) long-term incubators with a total capacity of approx. 5,100
microtitre plates. 6. Aspiration and washing module for the microtitre
plates, followed by a second dispensing unit and level check. 7.
Short-term incubator (without climate control). 8. 1 (one) incubator
with drying function. 9. Packaging machine for packing the microtitre
plates into pre-made bags; desiccant sachets can be added and the bags
labelled as an option.
The system consists of two base stations for 12 plates and one base
station for 6 plates.
Capacity up to 800 microtitre plates per hour.
